What this site stores about a visit, what it hands to Google instead, and where an enquiry actually goes.

Apparel Site Privacy Notice
1. What This Site Puts on Your Device
A page can identify the device reading it. Here is exactly what this one does:
- One cookie: The Google Analytics script sets “_ga” and “_ga_QS9YYBGFDJ” when a page here loads. Both hold a random identifier that lets the script tell a return visit from a first one, and both are written as the page loads rather than behind a prompt. This site’s own code sets no cookie of any kind.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 is the only measurement script a page here loads. It is Google’s rather than ours — it runs from googletagmanager.com, and what it collects (which pages are read, and from where) goes to Google. No advertising, remarketing or heat-mapping script runs alongside it.
- Storage: Nothing is written to your browser’s local or session storage by this site’s own code, and aside from that one cookie nothing is left behind to read on a return visit.
- Accounts: There is no login, no membership and no comment box, so the site has nowhere to keep a profile even if it wanted one.
2. The Quote Brief
Submitted briefs, though, land here first:
- Sent to this site: The quote brief on the contact page is posted to an endpoint on this site when the button is pressed. Your browser sends it here and nowhere else — the field values you typed, and nothing about your device.
- Passed on, not kept: That endpoint hands the brief straight to the internal enquiry automation that delivers it to our desk. It answers your browser with a status and keeps no copy of the brief itself — this site has no database, no mailbox and no customer system behind it.
- What it asks for: A name, an email address, a WhatsApp ID and a company name, the service, quantity band, destination and order-amount band are required; a style note is optional. Everything else is left blank, deliberately.
- Yours until you press send: The brief sits in the form and stays editable until the button is pressed, and nothing is sent before that. If a submission does not go through, the page says so and leaves every answer exactly where you typed it, so a retry costs nothing.
3. What We Do With an Enquiry
An enquiry arrives as an ordinary email and is treated as one:
- Purpose: A brief is read in order to answer it — to price the style, confirm the terms and reply. It is not put to any other use.
- Confidentiality: A buyer’s designs, patterns and technical documents are used only to quote or make their order, and are not shown to another client.
- No mailing list: Sending a brief does not subscribe anyone to anything. This site runs no newsletter and sends no marketing mail.
- Not sold or rented: An address, an enquiry or a design file is not sold, rented or traded, and no advertising network receives it.
4. Hosting and Request Records
This site is delivered over a hosting provider’s network rather than from a server in the factory:
- Delivery: Pages are served from that network, which handles each request in order to return the page to the browser that asked for it.
- Standard records: A provider may keep ordinary request records as part of running the network. This site reads none of them, and nothing is built from them into a profile of a visitor.
- No advertising use: The visit data the analytics script collects is not sold, is not shared with an advertising network, and is not used to follow anyone to another site.
5. Links to Other Sites
Some pages here link out, and a link leaves this notice behind:
- Third-party sites: Where a page links to a mill, a standards body or another site, that destination is not covered by this notice.
- Their own terms: Once the link is followed, whatever the site you land on collects is governed by its policy, not by this one.
- No control: This site does not control an outside page and cannot answer for what it records.
6. Changes to This Notice
A privacy notice that is not maintained stops being true:
- Dated: The date under the title at the top of this page is the date the notice last changed.
- Corrected in place: When a sentence here stops being accurate, it is corrected on this page rather than quietly removed, and the date moves with it.
- Website only: This notice is about this website, and not about a purchase. The document that covers a purchase is set out on the disclaimers page.
7. Where to Ask
In one line
This site keeps no record of a visitor of its own. The one thing that does is the Google Analytics cookie named in the first section, and that cookie is Google’s to hold. Everything else the site has is what a buyer chooses to send, and that is used to answer the enquiry and for nothing else.
A question about what this site stores, or about a brief already sent? Write to info@jaceapparel.com. The terms an order runs on are set out in our disclaimers, and how a claim is verified is in our fact checking process.
