Custom Sweatshirt Manufacturer OEM ODM - Stable Fleece Weight & Low-Pilling Bulk Production

JaceApparel manufactures custom sweatshirts — fleece cut and sewn in-house, from 100 pieces per colour. Avoid inconsistent fleece weight, pilling and post-wash shrinkage across your sweatshirt bulk runs. Our in-house cut-and-sew team locks the fabric specs and runs a pre-production lab-dip, so the bulk matches the sample.

What goes wrong

Four Things That Go Wrong on a Sweatshirt Run, and Who Here Fixes Them

None of these are solved by a better quote. They are solved by owning the fabric, the sampling and the QC — so each stop names the department that handles it.

  1. Folded sweatshirt fabrics stacked in blue, orange, cream, sage and pink

    Fabric & colour lab

The problemFleece weight drifts between the pre-production sample and the bulk orders, creating inconsistent retail stock.

Our fixFleece GSM and shrinkage tolerance are locked in the tech pack and held for the full run — not re-set at the cutting table.

    Weight held within ±5 GSM
  2. Close-up of a sewing-machine needle stitching a blue hem

    QC bench

The problemPoor anti-pilling performance only shows up after a few washes, and drives product returns for your brand.

Our fixEvery fabric batch passes a pre-production lab-dip and a physical anti-pilling test in our own lab before a single panel is cut.

    Fewer fabric-related returns
  3. A worker trimming a fabric panel with shears at a sewing machine

    Production floor

The problemShrinkage out of spec ruins the fit once the customer washes the garment.

Our fixMid-batch random QC checks verify fleece texture and dimensional stability on the line, so variance is caught before it becomes re-work.

    Shrinkage under 3%
  4. Hands comparing fabric swatches beside a tablet showing a design board

    Sample workshop

The problemSlow sampling delays the seasonal collection launch timeline.

Our fixSeasonal orders run to a dated milestone plan agreed before sampling starts, so a slipped stage is visible early.

Why work with us

What a Sweatshirt Order Gives You

The four that decide a fleece run — the QC on the cloth, the sampling, the bulk control and the logistics.

A hand checking the edge of a navy sweatshirt fabric panel

In-house fabric pre-testing

Testing sits in the same building as the cutting table, so results come back in days rather than weeks — and a batch that fails never reaches the line.

Fabric & colour lab

Pink sweatshirts on the bed of a heat press on the production floor

Priority sampling workflow

A sample team that works on samples only — never pulled onto the bulk lines — so your project is not queued behind someone else’s production.

Sample workshop

A worker measuring a black garment with a tape measure at an inspection table

Mid-batch random QC

Checks happen while the run is still on the machines — the last point at which variance can still be corrected cheaply.

Global logistics support

Export paperwork is prepared in-house, so your procurement team is not left chasing certificates of origin or customs forms.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Custom Sweatshirt Manufacturer

01What is your MOQ for custom sweatshirts?

The minimum is 100 pcs per colour. A colour is the unit the minimum counts in, so three colourways of the same style open at 300 pieces total rather than three separate orders.

Ask about minimums
02How long does sweatshirt sampling take?

Allow 7–10 working days from tech pack lock to the first sewn piece, with 3–5 fit revisions. Bulk production takes a further 7–15 working days, then 30–45 days by sea or 5–7 by air. The quote carries a date against each stage.

Ask about lead times
03Can you work from our tech-pack, sketches or mood-boards?

Yes. A finished tech pack, a sketch, a mood board or a reference sweatshirt all work as a starting point — we grade the block against your size chart and prove it on a sample ahead of bulk.

See customization options
04What fleece GSM ranges can you produce?

Weight runs from 280 to 420 GSM across the range — the band for every cloth is listed in the fabric section above. The exact weight is confirmed in the tech pack before sampling starts, so the bulk matches the approved sample.

Ask about fabric weights
05Do you offer DDP shipping for international bulk orders?

Yes — DDP, DAP or DPU to most countries. DDP means we clear the duty and deliver to your door; DAP and DPU leave the duty and taxes on your side. Freight is broken out on the quote, not bundled into the unit price.

Ask about freight terms
06What quality tests are completed for fleece sweatshirt bulk?

Every fabric batch is lab-dipped and anti-pilling tested before cutting, a mid-batch check runs on the line, and the finished order is inspected to AQL 2.5 before dispatch. Test reports and certificate copies go out with the quote on request.

Ask about QC
07What printing & embroidery techniques are supported?

Puff printing, screen printing, sublimation, chenille patches and 3D embroidery — plus woven labels, size tags and custom hardware. The method is matched to your artwork and fabric at sampling.
