Nine Towel Shapes, Each One Made to Your Own Measurements

Each shape is cut and sewn to your size and border. The cloth, the pile and the branding come off your brief rather than off this grid.

Four white terry bath towels stacked, a woven band along the folded edge
02

Bound, with a grommet and hook fitted
Branding
Club initials, stitched at the drop end
Yoga towels in blue, purple and pink, stacked one on another
05

Five Cloths, and What Each One Does in the Hand

The cloth decides the hand-feel, how fast the towel dries and how it takes a print. Pick it with the style you are building, then lock the exact cloth on the quote.

    Cotton

Looped terry that takes a dye evenly and a print cleanly — the default towel cloth.

    Organic cotton

The same loop, spun from organically grown cotton rather than conventional.

Best forBath · Baby · Spa

Softer and silkier in the hand than a cotton loop, usually blended with cotton to hold its shape.

Fine synthetic pile, lighter than terry and quick to dry.

Physical & structural

Four Physical Features, and What Each One Decides

Settle these four and the quote stops being an estimate. Each one is a line on the tech pack, not a menu you pick from a catalogue.

Edge finishes

  • Single-stitched, double-stitched, hemmed, dobby and jacquard-woven borders.
  • Chosen to stop fraying through repeated laundering.
Several towel sizes laid flat, from a small square cloth to a full-size bath towel, one with a hanging loop

Size & shape

  • Fully custom dimensions, cut to your own figures.
  • Square, rectangular, oversized beach, compact golf, or hooded.

Three cloths side by side — a cream terry loop, a pink flat weave and a sage waffle weave

  • Terry loop — maximum water absorption, for a bath sheet or a beach towel.
  • Flat weave — sharp print detail and lightweight, for promotional runs.
  • Waffle weave — fast-drying and lightweight, for kitchen and spa.

What you can change

Three Levers Once the Cloth Is Chosen

The cloth, the size and the border are set first. What is left is what goes on the towel, how it is built, and how it arrives.

Validate your towel spec first

Fabric, GSM, Branding and Packaging Approved on One Sample

The sample is priced on its own line and the bulk window is dated from the day that piece is signed, so nothing starts on a guess in between.

What goes wrong

Four Ways a Towel Order Goes Wrong, and Who Here Catches It

No better price fixes any of these. Owning the process does — so each one names the part of our own floor that catches it.

Sample workshop

Towels that arrive thinner and lighter than the ones that were quoted.

The weight and the pile are settled on a sample you sign, and that approved piece is kept as the control for the bulk run.

Fabric & colour lab

Colour that fades out of a beach towel in a single season.

The shade is signed off before anything is dyed, and the approved lot is held on file so a repeat order matches it.

Print room

Screen-printed logos that crack the first time the towel is folded.

Artwork is proofed on the towel’s own cloth, and the print is cured before the piece is packed.

QC bench

Cartons that arrive short, damp, or addressed to another brand.

Inspection runs before packing and carton by carton, and every label is checked against your SKU list.

Two Long-Term Clients, and What Our Floor Delivers for Them

No invented client logos. Two towel programmes for overseas buyers — what was going wrong, what changed on the floor, and what the client reported afterwards.

550GSM Hotel Bath & Spa Towels

Europe3,200 pcs

Pain point

  • Their previous supplier consistently delivered under 480gsm towels instead of the contracted 550gsm standard.
  • After 20+ commercial laundry cycles, towels produced heavy lint, faded unevenly, and frayed at the edges.
  • The hotel needed stable, wash-resistant linen quality for guest rooms and spa facilities to maintain brand reputation.

Solution

  • Strict 550gsm combed long-staple cotton full batch weight inspection
  • Factory pre-shrunk treatment to control washing shrinkage under 3%
  • Reinforced double-stitched hem finish for industrial frequent washing
  • Full colour fastness and low-lint lab testing before bulk release
  • Durable embroidered hotel logos, built for long-term laundry resistance

Result

  • All finished goods achieved consistent 545–555gsm weight.
  • Zero colour fading, zero edge fraying and almost no lint after 50+ washes.
  • Batch uniformity passed the hotel’s third-party linen inspection.

Client review

“We struggled with unreliable towel quality for years. JaceApparel matched the exact GSM we requested, and the embroidered logos survived frequent hotel laundry cycles without fraying. Communication was clear and samples were ready on schedule. We have placed repeat orders for our new hotel wing.”

Full Sublimation Custom Beach Towels

Australia5,800 pcs

Pain point

  • The previous factory had unstable Pantone colour calibration.
  • Bulk production showed obvious roll-to-roll colour deviation.
  • Uncontrolled fabric shrinkage at 8–12% destroyed printed patterns after first customer wash, causing high return rates.

Solution

  • Pre-production Pantone colour locking and digital colour proof approval
  • Pre-shrunk ring-spun cotton base fabric, shrinkage strictly controlled under 4%
  • Full sublimation printing with in-line colour QC every 200 pieces
  • 7–10 day sample confirmation before full bulk cutting

Result

  • The entire 5,800-piece shipment achieved uniform colour performance.
  • No pattern distortion after washing.
  • The towel series became the brand’s top 3 best-selling summer product, reducing customer complaints to nearly zero.

Client review

“Colour consistency was our biggest headache with past suppliers. JaceApparel locked in Pantone shades during sampling and controlled shrinkage well. The full sublimated beach towels looked exactly like our design. We will continue to expand our towel line with them next season.”

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Custom Towel Manufacturer

01What is the smallest towel run you will take?

The count opens at 100 pieces in a single colour. Sizes stack inside that colour, so a bath towel and a hand towel ordered together still add up to one run — and a second colourway carries its own separate 100.

Check the minimum against your run
02Can you cut a towel shape that is not in your range?

Yes — a shape off our list is ordinary work here. The pattern room drafts the outline, the mitred corners and the hanging loop to your drawing instead of lifting a stock block, and a worn towel posted to us or a rough sketch is enough to begin from.

See the pattern and trim options
03Is a sewn towel sample made before the bulk run?

One pre-production piece per style, and on a towel that is a finished, washable cloth rather than a flat swatch card — 7–10 working days once the tech pack is signed off, with 3–5 fit revisions built into that window. The sample is US$80–150 per style, credited back once the bulk order passes 500 pieces.

Ask what a towel sample costs
04How long is the bulk run once you sign the sample off?

Bulk runs 7–15 working days, counted from the day the signed piece is approved. A later colourway is scheduled as its own cutting block on the same spec, not as a restart of the whole sequence.

Ask what sets the run date
05What checks does a towel order go through before it ships?

AQL 2.5 sets the bar at final inspection, and cartons are opened and measured against the piece you signed rather than spot-checked at the port. A towel line can also be run under three certifications the plant carries: OEKO-TEX 100 covering harmful substances, BSCI covering the social audit, and GRS covering recycled content.

Ask which standard applies to your cloth
06What weight and pile should a custom towel be?

That is your call, and it is settled on the sample. Tell us what the towel is for — a heavy spa piece, a fast-drying gym towel, a thin kitchen cloth — and we quote the cloth to match, checking absorbency and shrinkage on the piece before the run.

Talk through a towel weight
07Can our own labels and packaging go on the towels?

Neither is fixed — the tech pack names the woven label, the hangtag, the printed care label and the retail bag or box. The woven-label run is counted on its own, apart from the towel minimum.

See how private label works
08How do finished towels leave the factory, and on whose terms?

Air freight lands in 5–7 days and a sea container in 30–45 days. On terms, DDP, DAP and DPU are each available for most destinations, and the term you pick is shown as a separate line on the quote rather than absorbed into the unit price.
