Four Ways to Finish a Jeans Run

Wash, distress or brand — pick the finish that suits the order. Each is proofed on the actual cloth before bulk.

  • The classic vintage denim look
  • Light, medium or heavy fade to match

  • A gentle, even dip rather than a hard fade
  • Sets the hand-feel before the run

How we work

Four Steps from a Brief to Your Door

Each step is dated on the quote, so you know what happens next before you commit to a sample.

  1. Submit your requirement

Share your pattern, logo, target denim and quantity. A sketch or reference garment is enough to start.

  2. Artwork & sampling

We confirm the design, then send a fabric swatch or a pre-production sample for your sign-off before any bulk run.

  3. Mass-production & multi-stage QC

The run is cut and sewn to the approved sample, checked in-process and again at the pre-shipment inspection.

  4. Packing & global delivery

Your branding goes on and the order ships DDP, DAP or DPU to your destination.

In their own words

What the Brands behind the Jeans Say

Two repeats from the buyers we make jeans for — the problem, how we handled it, and what they got.

Testimonial 1 Independent Streetwear Brand Founder

Pain point

  • Most denim factories set a MOQ of 200–500 pieces per style — far above a first test run.
  • A first launch ties working capital up in stock you have not validated with customers yet.
  • Mainstream suppliers often either refuse small batches or charge a premium per unit for them.

Solution

  • Trial batches at 100 pcs per colour, with no per-unit premium for a small run.
  • You can run several new-style trial batches a month — fabric, washes, 3D embroidery, hardware and private woven or leather labels in the same run.
  • Small-batch orders run the same process and QC gate as a bulk order, so a trial is never a downgrade.

Benefit

  • Far less capital tied up in a first launch, and far less dead-stock risk.
  • Test new denim styles each quarter, then restock only the winners.
  • The same small-run standard on every trial, so quality never drops.

“As a new streetwear denim brand we used to feel real pressure from high factory MOQs — a single trial order meant committing serious capital to stock we had not sold yet. JaceApparel’s 100-pcs minimum changed that. We now test new jeans styles every quarter and restock only the winners, and the custom details and fabric quality are identical to a bulk order.”

Testimonial 2 Cross-Border Apparel Store Operator

Pain point

  • Denim returns run high, and a large share trace to quality problems rather than fit preference.
  • Batch-to-batch colour and stitching inconsistency shows up in customer reviews.
  • Late factory delivery can cost a cross-border seller a whole season of stock.

Solution

  • A 7-step QC chain — incoming fabric, cutting, sewing, wash calibration, hardware fit, finished-goods inspection and protective packing.
  • Every piece is inspected, with colour calibrated across batches so there is no visible batch difference.
  • A dated production and delivery window, confirmed on the quote before the run.

Benefit

  • Denim returns fall well below what the category normally sees.
  • No batch colour difference and steadier stitching cut negative reviews and lift repeat purchases.
  • A dated, dependable window keeps seasonal stock in season.

“We had worked with several denim factories before and kept running into defective goods and obvious batch colour differences, which drove returns up. After moving to JaceApparel the defective rate dropped sharply, returns fell, and deliveries landed on the date quoted. Our store’s review scores recovered and repeat purchases grew.”

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Custom Jeans Manufacturer

01How many pairs does a denim run start at?

From 100 pcs per colour. The minimum counts colourways, and sizes inside one colour mix freely — one colour, one threshold.

02Can we sign off the denim on a sample first?

Yes. We quote a pre-production pair before bulk. The fee and the turnaround are broken out on the quote, and the denim is signed off on the sample rather than on a swatch.
